The CAA serves the public by promoting excellence in the graduate education of audiologists and speech-language pathologists. Through a peer review process, the CAA establishes accreditation standards and facilitates continuous quality improvement of the programs it accredits. Graduates of CAA-accredited and candidate programs are educated in a core set of skills and knowledge required for entry into independent professional practice.
